WHAT WE DO
Our aim which is Supported Living is to accommodate service users with designing a service around needs and wants of individuals who are less fortunate and cannot for whatever reason be in a position to do so themselves.
At Balfe Property Investments we use our building and care experience to provide supported living and social housing in various types of properties to meet individual requirements, working together with all agencies to make this happen
We have shared houses and bungalows where each service user has an individual tenancy agreement giving them their own bedrooms whilst sharing communal lounges and kitchens, however in some instances it may also involve a private room for their sole use.
Within our shared houses there will be care staff living on site to provide support to all the service users and in some properties may include 24 hour care.
Our properties provide a safe and comfortable environment where service users can enjoy companionship, typically based on 3 service users our latest property Laburnum Cottage is a prime example of a totally refurbished bungalow which has been sympathetically remodelled to provide bariatric mobility access including a fully compliant disabled bathroom and a separate wet room and access from the lounge onto a patio and level garden area.
A favourite model of housing provision is that of core and cluster housing types which are normally small groups of bungalows, houses and self-contained apartments such as Brandling Court and Haddon Court.
We pride ourselves on being able to source and make available a bespoke property service together with our stakeholders so that we can accommodate even the most challenging of situations.
In the past we have constructed purpose built houses, apartments care homes and residential care units together with supported living and social care housing needs.
